About Our Doctors

Dr. ManroeDr. Mark Manroe has been practicing dentistry for 15 years and enjoys all phases of general family and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Manroe receives many referrals from his existing patients because of his gentle techniques, great chairside manner and warm sense of humor. Referrals are the greatest compliment; they mean patients trust you enough to send in their family and friends. His personal satisfaction comes from knowing his patients well, being able to give them what they need for the best oral health, and helping them achieve the great smile they want!

Dr. Manroe is a 1991 graduate of UMKC. He has special training as a Mercury Free Dentist, and is a Certified Invisalign and Zoom bleaching provider. Dr. Manroe takes over three times the amount of Continuing Education required by the Kansas Dental Board.

Dr. Manroe is a member of the exclusive Great Plains Study Club for Continuing Education in Dentistry. The "by-invitiation-only" club includes the 40 top cosmetic dentists from the Kansas City area, who meet regularly with visiting experts from around the world to learn about the latest products and techniques that can be incorporated into the practice.

Dr. Manroe is noted for full mouth reconstruction cases and smile makeovers. His cosmetic work improves confidence, builds self-esteem, even changes people’s lives.

Dr. ManroeDr. Trevor Clemons has recently joined Dental Innovations. Dr. Clemons grew up in Liberty, Missouri, and joined the US Army after graduation from high school. After serving at Ft. Hood, TX for two years, he returned to Kansas City and enrolled in the 6-year accelerated program at the University of Missouri School of Dentistry. His post-graduate training includes advanced courses and special experience in cosmetic dentistry, dentures, root canals and patient communication.

Dr. Clemons particularly enjoys helping patients who have neglected their mouths because they have been too afraid to go to the dentist. He puts all patients at their ease, and has additional training in performing root canals which greatly helps patients requiring this often-feared procedure.

Dr. Clemons worked for two years in a denture clinic, and has completed literally thousands of denture and partial cases in his career. This is an aspect of dentistry that few dentists get a lot of experience in, and he has the experience to trouble-shoot and solve common problems with ill-fitting dentures.

The doctor's experience doing dentures has also helped his cosmetic cases, in which he also has extensive advanced training from the Nash Institute and from noted national educator, Dr. David Hornbrook.

Dr. Clemons' advanced training at the Dawson Center has helped him with the "hidden" side of dentistry: balancing the bite. If the bite is not balanced, dental work will deteriorate over a few years, with broken crowns and bridges, jaw and facial pain, and even permanent and progressive deterioration of the jaw joint. Advanced training at places such as the Dawson Center and the Nash Institute is expensive, and relatively few dentists take their continuing education at the top institutions.  Dr. Clemons decided early in his career that he "wanted to be the best, because my patients were relying on me to be an expert in my field."

Dr. Clemons has been a member of the Winchester Dental Implant study club, and will be joining the prestigious Great Plains Study Club in the fall session of 2007.
